Apunix's web monitoring tool can be used either by you or by Apunix to remotely monitor and track kiosk use and performance. Complete log files are available in the format of your choice, including spreadsheets, summary reports, or database entries. Reports can be customized to fit your needs. Providing detailed, real-time information, log files can track all kiosk use and page hits. They can also immediately inform you about peripheral status, such as when printing paper is low.
Software maintenance is also performed remotely. Apunix has developed a remote content management tool that allows content from a single "golden" machine to be automatically pushed to an entire network of kiosks. Only content that has changed is transferred; local differences between kiosks can also be accommodated. Hundreds of kiosks within a network can be updated in just minutes - and a subsequent reboot is not required.
